WestFest is Old West Durham's twice yearly neighborhood get-to-know-you party! It is a family friendly event held each Spring and Fall and generally includes live music, refreshments, and - more recently - food trucks. The dates and locations are announced on the List Serve so watch for those and then come on down and bring your neighbors!
The Durham Performing Arts Center is one of the premier venues on the east coast for Broadway plays, music events and other live performanaces. More information at: DPAC
Since 1926, the Carolina Theatre has been a showcase for music, film, and live theatre. The building is beautifully preserved and it contributes greatly to the vibrancy of Downton Durham. More information at: Carolina Theatre

This event is held on the First Thursday of the month from April through October. Come down in the evening to get some excellent food and meet and greet your neighbors!
Come see Durham's Triple A professional baseball team. The modern ballpark is in a beautiful setting and Wooly Bull is there to ensure this is a fun, family-friendly outing. More information at: Durham Bulls
Bike Durham is a not-for-profit group advocating for bicyclinbg interests in Durham They also have a listing of group rides and bike routes that can be very useful for those new to biking in our area. More information at: Bike Durham
The IndyWeek is Durham's free independent news source and it hosts the definitive ranking of restaurants, music venues, shops and services, and assorted other categories.
